    Hi there!

Where can I find good food and fun during Ramadan? What places are still open to tourists?

    Hello!

Tours are just as available during Ramadan as any other time, possibly more so. You can visit a spice plantation, Prison Island, do some snorkeling or diving, swim with the dolphins or tour the historical sites of Stone Town.

You can check and book some tours on the island via our page also!

Long morning walks to the sand banks in the middle of the ocean or a game or two of football or volleyball in the afternoon hours on the beach.

You can book a safari trip to the mainland which is a next level experience and will definitely leave you amazed! Starry night, campfire, sleeping in tents next to exotix animals, will game drive in jeeps and much more.

If you feel like you need more adrenaline, then you can do skydiving, parasailing or kite-surfing.

There are several places with yoga lessons and there is a gym if you want to stay fit. Or you can simply relax on the beach with a cold drink in your hand and enjoy the view of crystal blue ocean.

Even tho most of the restaurants and hotels closed at this time of the year, you can still find few places or bigger hotels to enjoy delicious food and drinks. There is Lukmaan Restaurant in Stone Town,Passion Butique Hotel in Jambiani or Istanbul Restaurant in Nungwi as one of the good places to go eat during Ramadan!

Make sure to be here around Eid- party at the end of the Ramadan(beggining of May) all over the island. Enjoy your staying!
